Future Media Concepts Announces West Coast Expansion with New Training Facility in Irvine, California
New York, NY – July 31, 2012 – Future Media Concepts (FMC), the nation's premier digital media training organization, today announced that it has opened the company's first West Coast training facility in Irvine, Calif., bringing to 11 the total number of FMC training centers worldwide. The new facility is thanks to FMC's purchase of Irvine-based Promedia Academy.
By acquiring Promedia Academy, an Apple® Gold Level training center, FMC will now be able to offer training nationwide. FMC will continue to operate in the current Promedia Academy space while the company's expanded, custom-designed space is being built.
_"The expansion to the West Coast has always been of strategic interest to FMC," said Jeff Rothberg, FMC president and co-founder. "Many of our students who have attended FMC training conferences and classes have requested that we offer courses on the West Coast, so we're thrilled to announce the opening of the new facility in California. We look forward to providing our training courses to this important region."_
With the expansion to the West Coast, FMC will now be able to offer students additional Adobe®, Apple, Autodesk®, and Avid® courses to supplement training at its existing facilities around the country.
_"FMC is a recognized leader in the training space, so we're confident that our existing students will continue to get high-quality, consistent, and accessible training," said Adrian Ramseier, president of Promedia Academy. "In addition, students will be able to access a far wider variety of courses thanks to FMC's breadth and depth of offerings."_
Classes at the Irvine location are forming now. Additional information about this location or any of FMC's other training facilities is available at www.fmctraining.com.
