General Terms and Conditions

Courseware Format Policy

E-reading device is not provided by Future Media Concepts. E-books may not be available for all classes.

Discount Policy

Discounts are valid on new class registrations only, and cannot be applied to prior booked, scheduled or registered courses. Discounts are only applicable to single course offerings, and are not valid on FMC Passports, Master Classes, on-site training or FMC events. Discounts must be mentioned at the time of registration. To enjoy your discount, payment is expected prior to the commencement of class.

Payment

Payment must be received at least 5 days prior to class start date or 30 days from registration, whichever comes first. For anyone who registers within 5 days of the start date, payment is due upon registration. All course/s must be registered and completed within 1 year of registration date. If courses are not completed within 1 year of registration date, all payments and courses will be forfeited.

Cancelling an Open Enrollment Registration

Cancellation policy:
If notice is given 15 or more calendar days before the start of a class, the student may receive a full refund less a $100 administrative fee. If notice is given less than 15 calendar days no rescheduling or refunds are permitted.
Clients who commence a master class may not cancel and are responsible for the entire Master Class fee.
Any exam cancellations will be accessed a $50 administrative fee.

All cancellations and registration changes must be received in writing. Please e-mail to registration@fmctraining.com. Attendee substitutions may be made for any student without penalty or additional cost at any time until the class begins.

Rescheduling Policy

If notice Is given 15 or more calendar days before the start of the class a student may reschedule . A student can reschedule a class up to two (2) times. Additional reschedules will not be allowed.

No Shows

If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or rescheduling permitted. Payment is forfeited. FMC reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment or in other circumstances. FMC will endeavor to give as much advance notice as possible of any change to the schedule. FMC shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss arising whatsoever.

Satisfaction Guarantee

FMC guarantees the quality of its training. If for any reason a student has not received the full benefit from a course, the student can audit the same course at no charge up to 3 months from course completion. The class can also be retaken online, if applicable. The request to audit must be made in writing to the branch manager within 30 days, and all course fees must be paid in full prior to retake.

Event Terms and Conditions

Conferences

Conferences registrations are non refundable. However, you can apply the conference fee towards a future conference up to the amount paid or towards a training class at FMC centers. FMC does not refund if the new conference is less than the amount paid for original conference.

Please note that if you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment and there shall be no refund due and registrant cannot apply conference fee towards a future conference.


Exam Terms* and Conditions

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:

  • If notice is given 6 or more business days before the start of a class, the student may reschedule or cancel without penalty.
  • If rescheduling within 5 business days of the exam date, a $50 administrative fee will be charged.
  • If cancellation is within 5 business days of the exam date, a full refund will be given minus a $50 administrative fee.
  • No Shows for a scheduled exam will result in a refund minus a $100 administrative fee
  • Attendee substitutions may be made for any student without penalty or additional cost within 1 business day of the exam date.

*Certification Exams are not eligible for discounts.


Passport Terms and Conditions

  • Program applies to new registrations only and cannot be retroactively applied to prior scheduled booked or previous training purchases.
  • All funds must be utilized within one year of purchase date. Any unused funds will expire at the one year anniversary of purchase date, unless the program is renewed at same or at a higher purchase level.
  • To enjoy the the benefits of the FMC passport program Full payment is expected at the time of registration.
  • This program cannot be combined with any other discounted program.
  • This offer is non-refundable.
  • Please note that exams, courseware, and any shipping or equipment rentals needed for OnSites are not included in Passport Program and must be purchased separately
  • FMC Passport Programs can be used for onsite training. Please discuss details with your corporate account manager. Surcharges apply for International onsite assignments. For clients using passport days for onsite training, the following will apply:
    • 6 student minimum.
    • For travel and per diem expenses, one day for each day trained will be deducted from the passport.
    • For weekend assignments, one day for each weekend day trained will be deducted from the passport.
  • Not applicable to Apple and Adobe Bootcamps
  • Can be applied to the following FMC conferences: After Effects World Conference, Premiere Pro World Conference, FCP X world Conference and Creative Cloud World conference-speak to your digital media specialist for more info.
  • Passport pricing not available for FMC partners.

On-site Terms and Conditions

Payment

Full estimated payment must be received by Future Media Concepts at the time of registration.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:

Cancellations received MORE THAN 21 BUSINESS DAYS before the on-site start date are eligible for refunds, but are subject to a $350 administrative fee plus any non-refundable booking costs incurred by FMC.

Cancellations received LESS THAN 21 BUSINESS DAYS before the on-site start date are not eligible for refunds and are liable for 100% of total on-site fees and expenses.

In no event shall FMC be liable for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages incurred from cancellation of training.
